A. Educational Email Requirement:

The sole mandatory data point required for Service access is a valid educational ('.edu') email address. This is collected strictly as a Technical Verification Token to confirm eligibility (Student/Developer status) and to prevent platform abuse, spam, and botnet activities.

B. Voluntary Pseudonymity:

Users are expressly permitted and encouraged to use pseudonyms, aliases, or non-personally identifiable information when filling out account fields regarding "Name" or "Address." We DO NOT request, collect, or store real physical addresses, government IDs, or credit card information. Any personal data you voluntarily provide beyond the .edu email is done so at your own risk and discretion.

2. Usage of Collected Information

The specific educational email address provided is utilized strictly for:

  • Authentication: Verifying your status as a student or academic developer.
  • Security: Preventing multiple account creation, spam, and fraud.
  • Critical Notifications: Sending automated alerts regarding server downtime or resource termination.

Non-Disclosure Guarantee: We expressly represent and warrant that your email address is NEVER sold, rented, leased, or shared with third-party data aggregators or marketing agencies. It is strictly siloed within our authentication infrastructure.

3. Third-Party Advertising & Cookies

To maintain this Service as free-of-charge, we utilize third-party vendors, specifically Google AdSense, to display advertisements.

  • Third-Party Cookies: Vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Advertising Identifiers: Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

6. User Content & Server Liability

FreeVPS.edu.pl acts solely as a passive conduit for the storage and transmission of data. We do not monitor, view, or claim ownership of the content hosted on your Virtual Private Server (VPS).

You are solely responsible for:

  • The security and integrity of your VPS (root access is provided).
  • Ensuring all content hosted complies with applicable international laws.
  • Maintaining your own backups. We do not provide backup services.

7. Data Retention & Security

Your email address is retained only for as long as your account remains active. Upon account termination (whether voluntary or due to Terms of Service violations), your data is purged from our active systems. While we implement industry-standard security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute immunity from unauthorized intrusion. You acknowledge that you provide your email at your own risk.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

A. NO WARRANTY: THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

B. LIMITATION OF DAMAGES: IN NO EVENT SHALL FREEVPS.EDU.PL, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (II) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (III) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (IV) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

C. INDEMNIFICATION: YOU AGREE TO DEFEND, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS FREEVPS.EDU.PL FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, OBLIGATIONS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES, COSTS OR DEBT, AND EXPENSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR VIOLATION OF THESE TERMS.
